The Los Angeles Rams advanced to the Divisional Round of the 2022 playoffs. Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are waiting for them. Unfortunately for the Rams, they will be without two key players on Sunday.

Rams head coach Sean McVay said that left tackle Andrew Whitworth and safety Taylor Rapp are out against the Bucs.

Whitworth, a four-time Pro Bowler, suffered a knee injury on Los Angeles' opening snap in their Wild Card win over the Arizona Cardinals. The 40-year-old‘s injury could have been much worse, per McVay.

Rapp did not play against the Cardinals due to a concussion. The 24-year-old started the entire regular season and tied with Jalen Ramsey to record the most interceptions on the team with four. His absence will force 37-year-old Eric Weddle into a more prominent role on the Rams' defense.

The Buccaneers will likely not be at full strength, either. Leonard Fourntette is still working his way up to playing full speed and Tristan Wirfs and Ryan Jensen, two key offensive linemen, will be game-time decisions. The Rams will still have their hands full either way.

The Rams did get some positive injury updates, though, as running back Darrell Henderson should be ready to play against Tampa Bay. After going all-in on this season to win a Super Bowl, the Rams' depth will be tested against the defending champions.
