One question on everyone's minds over the past couple of weeks within the Los Angeles Rams organization has been what the quarterback situation is moving forward.

At least for the time being, we have an answer.

Speaking to the media following the Rams playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers, head coach Sean McVay made it clear that Jared Goff is still their quarterback moving forward.

Goff has been a target of criticism for the past couple of years following the Rams' Super Bowl appearance which led to him getting a big contract extension. In spite of his solid numbers, Goff has been considered a bust relative to his contract, which has led to calls for the Rams to move on. McVay has been loyal to his quarterback, however, with both of them starting with the Rams at the same time and being linked due to that.

This year has been a different one for everyone. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a number of teams did not have any fans at home games, which reduced the home-field advantage. In spite of that the Rams had a solid season, going 10-6 and making it to the playoffs through a Wild Card spot.

They were able to win their first-round game in a big upset, beating the West division winner Seattle Seahawks 30-20. Goff showed his worth to the Rams in that game, coming in while injured as a backup and throwing for 155 yards and a touchdown in the victory.
