It was a magnificent season for the Los Angeles Rams. After fighting throughout the playoffs, LA takes home the Lombardi Trophy after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl 56. However, Van Jefferson might have had the greatest day of all time, as his son was born on the same day.

According to Around the NFL, the Rams receiver reacted to the special moment. After winning Super Bowl 56, Jefferson rushed to the hospital to be by his wife's side while giving birth to their son. That has to be one of the greatest days a family could ever live through.

“It was a great day, bro. I got three prizes today. My wife, my son and the Super Bowl,” Jefferson said on Instagram Live.

While Van Jefferson was busy playing in Super Bowl 56, his wife, Samaria Jefferson, had instructed the Rams to not tell him when she was going into labor, per Around the NFL.

“I said, ‘You play, I'll see you at the hospital afterwards.' That's what it is. I will never take that moment away from him. I want to see him glorify God on the field that day. Knowing Van and how he is so caring, he just worries so much about me and the kids. If I did tell him or someone told him during the game, he would come off that field. We're saying, ‘Hey, you go play. We'll see you after.'”

So, at the end of the day, Van Jefferson takes home a Super Bowl ring while enjoying the birth of his son. This is an awesome moment for the Jefferson family. Hopefully, they have a fun offseason before going back to work to help the Rams potentially repeat for another Super Bowl win.
