The Toronto Raptors escaped the Brooklyn Nets by the skin of their teeth on Tuesday night, surviving with a gut-wrenching 109-108 victory at home.

But aside from the pulsating win, it seemed the fans of the Raptors thoroughly enjoyed one thing: Booing the heck out of Goran Dragic. In case you've forgotten, the veteran guard wasn't exactly thrilled when he was shipped to the Raptors as part of the Kyle Lowry trade with the Miami Heat. Dragic only suited up for a whopping five games with the Raptors.

In a report by ESPN, Raptors forward Pascal Siakam was asked about the “warm” reception of the crowd for Dragic and he admitted being shocked.

“I was surprised. I like Goran.”

The 35-year-old Dragic is seen as one of the more likable guys in the NBA, but the people of Toronto sure have a different opinion. Raptors coach Nick Nurse also sounded off on the jeers dedicated to Dragic. It's worth noting that Nurse could've given more opportunities to the southpaw playmaker to prove his worth.

“They (fans) really had fun doing that, didn't they? They never took their foot off the gas.”

Dragic had a decent game off the bench, finishing with 10 points, two rebounds, and two assists in 15 minutes.

The Raptors improved to 34-27 and are one spot ahead of the skidding Nets in the Eastern Conference at no. 7.
