There's nothing like watching a full-octane, testosterone-filled, high-scoring game in the NFL. Well, the game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night was literally nothing like it.

It was a ho-hum of a game through three quarters with both teams struggling to find the end zone. In fact, the Ravens and the Dolphins achieved something that has never been done this season. According to ESPN Statistics & Information, it's the first game this season that the battling squads have more punts than points through three quarters.

Are we in 1929?

Not a few fans expected a supercharged showdown with Lamar Jackson leading the Ravens and Tua Tagovailoa steering the Dolphins. But the high-profile quarterback matchup fell way short in living up to its billing. In fact, the two teams failed to score a single point in the third quarter.

But hey, if you're a true purist who adores low-scoring affairs and claps for the teeny-tiny tactics, then it's the game of the season.

The Ravens are trying to get their seventh win in nine games to solidify their hold of the top spot in the AFC North, while the Dolphins are just looking to earn some semblance of respectability as they have stumbled to a 2-7 record, which is second to the last in the entire AFC.

The scoring struggles of the Ravens on Thursday are pretty uncharacteristic, considering the fact they haven't scored less than 23 points this season.
