The Week 14 matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns was a sight to behold for football fans everywhere. Even the members of the teams were amazed by the sequences that transpired in the game, including Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.

“With all the things that went on with this game, the timing like you’re talking about right there, if you wrote a movie about this, people wouldn’t believe it,” he said via NBC Sports. “They would say it could never happen. ‘Reality is stranger than fiction,’ or whatever that saying is. That’s kind of what it is here — it’s crazy.”

After a tightly-contested opening frame that ended on a score of 7 apiece, Harbaugh's team went on a scoring surge in the second and third quarters of the game in a bid to pull away from their division rivals.

However, the Browns still had fight in them and worked to erase the Ravens' 14-point lead in the final quarter while Lamar Jackson headed to the locker rooms due to what he's been calling “cramps”. After recording 13 yards on 1-of-4 passing, backup playmaker Trace McSorley eventually went down with a knee injury which prompted the return of the 2019 NFL MVP on the field.

Jackson announced his comeback in the final minutes of the fourth quarter and threw a 44-yard pass to wide receiver Hollywood Brown to get back in the game. The Ravens ultimately leaned on placekicker Justin Tucker in the dying seconds of the tilt to put the finishing touches on their 47-42 victory.

The Baltimore-based squad was able to salvage their season and open a window of hope for a playoff spot with an 8-5 record. Despite the victory, they are still trailing behind the Browns who are in the second spot of the AFC North with a 9-4 tally.

John Harbaugh and the rest of the Ravens will have a good chance to extend their two-game winning streak as they match up against the Jacksonville Jaguars for Week 15 action.
