The Arizona Cardinals waived linebacker Terrell Suggs, but the Baltimore Ravens were not considering a reunion.

According to Josina Anderson of ESPN, the Ravens did not put in a waiver claim on Suggs, who ultimately landed with the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday.

Suggs played in 13 games with the Cardinals this season and posted decent results, logging 37 tackles, 5.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

The veteran was hoping to land back in Baltimore, but obviously, that did not occur.

Suggs, who played his collegiate football at Arizona State, was originally selected by the Ravens with the 10th overall pick of the 2003 NFL Draft.

He made an instant impact during his rookie campaign, registering 27 tackles, 12 sacks, an interception, five forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.

Suggs then made his first Pro Bowl in 2004 after finishing with 60 tackles, 10.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a couple of fumble recoveries.

That was the first of seven Pro Bowl appearances for Suggs, who also earned First-Team All-Pro honors in 2011 after racking up 70 tackles, 14 sacks, a pair of picks, seven forced fumbles and six passes defended.

The 37-year-old spent the first 16 years of his NFL career with the Ravens, winning a Super Bowl with the club during the 2012-13 campaign.

However, Suggs, who went to high school in Arizona, decided to go back home this past offseason, signing a two-year, $10 million deal with the Cardinals, one that obviously did not pan out.

The Ravens don't seem to need Suggs' help, as they have gone an NFL-best 12-2 through Week 15.
