D.J. Fluker was released by the Seattle Seahawks this past Sunday, but it didn't take him long to find a new home. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Baltimore Ravens, pending a physical, are signing Fluker.
The #Ravens beefed up their O-line with some veteran experience, agreeing to terms with former #Seahawks OL DJ Fluker, source said. The deal is pending the physical for the one-time first-round pick.

Fluker began his career as the No. 11 pick of the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2013 NFL Draft. He would spend four seasons with the Chargers before having a one-year stint with the New York Giants in 2017.
Following his time with the Giants, Fluker found himself joining the Seahawks. Prior to his release on Sunday, Fluker spent two seasons in Seattle, starting in 24 games at right guard. Surprisingly enough, the Ravens have a sudden void at the right guard position this offseason.
Earlier this offseason, Marshal Yanda announced his retirement from the NFL after 13 seasons in Baltimore. With Yanda's retirement, the Ravens are faced with a tough task of trying to replace him on the offensive line.
Seeing that they signed Fluker, the Ravens could elect to replace Yanda with another veteran. While he isn't nearly as good as Yanda, Fluker would bring a veteran presence to the interior of the offensive line.
On the other hand, Baltimore could choose to insert rookie Ben Bredeson at right guard next season. Bredeson was selected in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Ravens.
Given his experience in the NFL, Fluker could have a chance to be an immediate starter for the Ravens in 2020. At the least, Fluker will give Baltimore some much-needed depth in the interior of their offensive line.
