The Baltimore Ravens recently gave a new lease on life to wide receiver Dez Bryant after signing him to a one-year deal. Offensive coordinator Greg Roman believes that Bryant will soon find his place in the team's offensive rotation and that his arrival could eventually pay off for the team in the near future.

“We’ll just keep working and we’ll see where that leads moving forward,” Roman said via the Baltimore Sun. “I don’t think there’s any real timeline right now, but I do think that if Dez keeps progressing, he’ll definitely become a factor in what we do.”

The three-time Pro Bowler successfully made his return to the NFL after playing his last tiff back in the 2017 season as a member of the Dallas Cowboys. He eventually made his first appearance while donning the Ravens' colors in a Week 9 encounter against the Indianapolis Colts.

Bryant was probably still shaking off major rust, as he failed to tally a significant statistic in the game. However, playing a couple of snaps on the field should serve as an encouraging sign for him moving forward.

The Ravens' rookie pass-catcher in Devin Duvernay recently made his return on the gridiron after nursing a thigh injury which eventually relegated Bryant back to the team's practice squad ahead of their Week 10 tilt against the New England Patriots.

Bryant has now found his way back on the active roster once again, this time as a replacement for backup quarterback Trace McSorley who was recently placed on the team's reserve/COVID-19 list. He is expected to suit up in Week 11 as the Ravens go up against the Tennessee Titans with both teams holding an identical 6-3 record.

The Ravens are hoping that Dez Bryant will regain at least some of his previous Pro Bowl form soon in order to serve as a key piece in their pursuit of a Super Bowl title this season.
