No one has ever questioned Baltimore Ravens defensive back Earl Thomas' heart and his quest to find motivation. Ahead of their Week 4 matchup against the Cleveland Browns, Thomas stated that he and his teammates have found that motivation, it being all the hype that surrounded Cleveland coming into the season.

Per Michael David Smith of NBC Sports' Pro Football Talk, Thomas said that “he heard all about the Browns, especially after the Odell Beckham trade.” The Browns seemed to be the headliner on every football talk show, gawking over the talent they possessed on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball.

Fans weren't the only ones listening to these talks, as Thomas had his ears perked to the TV, waiting to get his opportunity to show the Browns and the rest of the league that his Ravens aren't going to be walked over in the division.

Even Ravens head coach John Harbaugh joined in on praising the Browns during the offseason, calling them the most talented team in the division. Whether or not this was a ploy to motivate his team and give themselves the underdog narrative is unknown. What is known is that Baltimore will be led by Lamar Jackson as he attempts to continue his impressive start to the season.

Through the first three games of the season, the Browns have yet to meet those lofty preseason expectations, while the Ravens have been without a doubt the most impressive team in that division.
