Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is “fine” after falling over a jet ski. Jackson was playing football on a beach when he scrambled full speed towards the jet ski. He tried to slow down at the last minute to avoid it but ended up tumbling over it and falling into the water.

According to Jamison Hensley of  ESPN, Jackson wasn't injured. The big question now is will Jackson be allowed to continue to play beach football. There have been plenty of other activities that NFL players haven't been allowed to do for fear of getting injured.

Last season, Patrick Mahomes was told he couldn't play pickup basketball anymore after a video surfaced of him dominating a basketball game was posted on Twitter.

Jackson's beach football game looked like harmless fun, but if Jackson would have been seriously hurt, he, and the Ravens, would be in a lot of trouble. Jackson has been working hard this offseason to again lead Baltimore's productive offense, something an injury would have ruined. Jackson's private quarterback coach Joshua Harris said the biggest thing they are working on this offseason is how opposing defenses might try to stop him going forward.

Said Harris on the Vinny & Haynie Show on 105.7 FM in Baltimore (via Sports Illustrated):

“The great thing about Lamar is he's a hard worker, he's humble and he's taken constructive criticism. He's coachable. He's listening to what I'm saying. He's practicing that and the good thing is he can see the results. So, now it's just him trying to perfect it.

“The biggest thing is ‘let's keep improving, let's see what defenses try to throw at you in your offense, and now let's be ready to combat that and just continue to evolve our game.' Just become a better mental quarterback and understand what defenses are doing.”

The Ravens have dreams about winning the Super Bowl. To make that happen, Jackson needs to be healthy and playing his best football.
