The Baltimore Ravens were linked to All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner, who was released by the Seattle Seahawks in a stunning move earlier this offseason. In fact, the Ravens reportedly made a competitive offer to Wagner, who ultimately decided to sign with the Los Angeles Rams, whose Super Bowl-winning defense just got even better with his addition. Many around the NFL were quick to react to the news. Ravens stars Lamar Jackson and Marlon Humphrey shared their immediate reactions on Twitter to Wagner signing with the Rams. Hint, they weren't happy reactions.

Marlon Humphrey responded to the Wagner-Rams news with just three words: ā€œI am upset.ā€ Lamar Jackson echoed that sentiment, replying to his Ravens teammates' tweet with an angry emoji.

Jackson and Humphrey likely speak to the Ravens organization's frustration with losing out on Wagner to the Rams. While Wagner has largely only played in a 4-3 defense in his career- the Ravens run a 3-4- he would still have been an important addition to their linebacker corps, which features a lot of youth.

Wagner, who has made six All-Pro teams and won a Super Bowl, has experience in spades. His veteran presence on the Ravens defense would have been enough to bump Jackson, Humphrey and company up a few notches in the AFC contender rankings, even in a loaded conference.

Unfortunately for Baltimore it was not to be.
