The star-studded showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans has been pegged as one of the more intriguing matchups of the 2019 NFL season. after all, it is not often two bonafide MVP candidates like quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson get to provide a potential glimpse at what the AFC playoffs will look like.

Both quarterbacks have drawn plenty of similarities as two of the most talented players in the NFL. Regardless, Jackson is just focusing on what he brings to the table, via Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com

On Wednesday, Jackson was asked about comparisons between his game and Watson’s. Said Jackson: “I play Lamar Jackson ball. I don’t play anybody else’s ball.”

There is certainly plenty of truth to Jackson's comments. Although both quarterbacks have set the standard when it comes to making plays as both a passer and a runner, there is clearly a difference in their style of play.

Jackson has established himself as Michael Vick 2.0 thanks to his heroics in the 2019 NFL season. His efforts handed the New England Patriots their first loss of the year while his versatility continues to take the league by storm as the central force of the No. 1 rushing attack in the NFL.

Of course, Jackson will now be squaring off against another prodigious talent in Watson, who has also managed to provide some heroics of his own this season. It is safe to say that the outcome of this game could have some serious implications on both the AFC playoff picture and MVP race down the line.
