Saturday morning on NFL Network, the Good Morning Football crew discussed potential landing spots for free agent Le'Veon Bell. They settled on a pairing in Baltimore with Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson. Bell couldn't help but respond on Twitter.

Kay Adams mentions that, with Baltimore, Bell would get to face the Pittsburgh Steelers ā€“ his former team ā€“ twice a year. This would only fuel the already-intense Ravens-Steelers rivalry.

One of the top items on Baltimore's offseason shopping list is upgrading at running back, and Bell seems like the perfect fit. In fact, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN, improving the offense is the team's biggest need:

The Ravens produced 57 plays of 20 yards or more, which ranked 24th in the NFL. Baltimore has to add more explosive talent aroundĀ Lamar Jackson, whether it's a young wide receiver or a dynamic running back. The Ravens can't count on marching down the field on 10- and 11-play drives. Baltimore needs someone to generate chunk plays and take pressure off its new franchise quarterback.

Bell sat out the entire 2018 season due to a contract dispute with the Steelers. The 26-year-old running back was frustrated that the team used the franchise tag in two consecutive offseasons to keep him from hitting the open market. He was concerned that, in his final year with the team, Pittsburgh would over-use him and put him at a higher risk for injury.

For his career, Bell has totaledĀ 7,996 yards, 5,336 of those rushing. He has averaged 5.2 yards per touch and scored 42 total touchdowns.

The Ravens finished the 2018 season atop the AFC North. However, they were the fourth seed, and were knocked out of the Wild Card round by the Los Angeles Chargers.
