Before the Week 8 NFL trade deadline, the Los Angeles Rams sent cornerback Marcus Peters to the Baltimore Ravens as a means of making room for fellow corner Jalen Ramsey, who they proceeded to acquire from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Well, on Monday night, Peters got his chance at revenge, and he capitalized on it, logging eight tackles and an interception in what ended up being a 45-6 Ravens win over the Rams.

Los Angeles fell to 6-5 with the defeat, and while the loss didn't necessarily eliminate the Rams from playoff contention, it certainly made it a whole lot more difficult for them to make the postseason, as they are now two games back of the second and final Wild Card spot in the NFC with just five games left to play.

Peters was obviously fully aware of the devastating blow he and the Ravens delivered, and he was very vocal about it afterward, bragging about how Baltimore was “kicking your a– out of the playoffs,” per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com.

Again, the Ravens' win didn't really kick the Rams out of the playoffs, but it may have been the death blow in what has been a miserable season in Los Angeles, one that Peters is now surely thankful he is no longer a part of.

Instead, Peters is a member of a Baltimore club that has won seven straight games and is 9-2 on the year, putting itself in fantastic position to lock down a first-round bye in the AFC playoffs.

The Ravens will take on the San Francisco 49ers next Sunday.
