The Green Bay Packers recently traded away safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to the Washington Redskins, and he's excited for his new opportunity. Clinton-Dix was arguably the most important member of the Packers' secondary, and they sent him to a Redskins team that is in first place in the NFC East. He gave the Packers a quality four and a half seasons, but it's time for him to reach anew stage in his NFL journey.

“I'm excited about a new start,” Clinton-Dix told the Redskins, via Twitter. “I'm at a place where I love. I love Sean Taylor…My eyes light up every time I play here…I'm happy to be a part of this organization and I'm ready to keep this thing going.”

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix became a Pro Bowler in 2016, and will look to assist the Redskins' fifth ranked defense. They've done a good job stuffing the run, and now they've sured up their secondary. Their newest acquisition is excited to be on the Redskins, and he came into this season questioning his future with the Packers.

“Right now, I’m playing each and every game like it’s my last. I don’t think I’m going to be here next year,” Clinton-Dix told the Wisconsin State Journal earlier this month. “That’s how I look at it. I just (have to) be honest with myself. You’ve got to play it game-by-game. Whether we’re losing by 60 points, you’ve got to go out there and perform. This is my biggest interview of my career. So I’ve got to perform, regardless of what the record says.”
