According to his official Instagram account, Green Bay Packers superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers is expected to return from his broken right collarbone injury and start for this Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

Rodgers said on his Instagram, “It's been a long road from that day to this, but I'm happy to say I've been medically cleared to return. Thanks for all the love, support, prayers, and well wishes over the past 8 weeks. #riseagain.”

With so many devastating injuries in the NFL this 2017-18 season, this is great news to hear that Rodgers was able to recover so quickly from such an unfortunate setback. The injury occurred on just the Packers' second drive of the game back in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings. After he scrambled out of the pocket to his right, Rodgers was hit just after he threw the ball and was driven hard into the turf by Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr.

The two-time NFL Most Valuable Player and Super Bowl XLV champion's return is the best news the Packers could've gotten as they cling to their playoff lives. Even if the Packers do manage to run the table and get to 10-6, they are going to need some help from other NFC teams in order to sneak into the playoffs.

Before he got injured, Rodgers led the NFL in touchdown passes with 13 and had thrown just three interceptions after five weeks of play.
