Kelvin Benjamin and the Buffalo Bills went into Week 6's matchup with the Houston Texans hoping to come out with another surprising win. Houston ended up knocking off the Bills by a final score of 20-13, but it was something that happened before the game that had the media talking.

A report came out and stated that Benjamin refused to run routes with rookie quarterback Josh Allen prior to the game. That shocked fans and media members alike.

Mike Rodak of ESPN shared Benjamin's post-game quotes about the reported incident. Benjamin made it clear that the information was not accurate.

Allen has taken over as the future in Buffalo at the quarterback position. He did suffer an elbow injury during the game that forced him out early. Despite that, what happened before the game seems to be a major misunderstanding.

Benjamin seems to have already gone through his pre-game workout before Allen wanted him to run routes. The receiver was happy with the work that he had put in and didn't want to overdo it.

Even with all of the rumors and drama, the Bills do not seem worried about it. Allen and Benjamin seem to be fine as well.

Throughout the first six games of the season with the Bills, Kelvin Benjamin has caught 10 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown. Allen has completed 53.9 percent of his pass attempts for 832 yards, two touchdowns, and five interceptions so far this season.

Buffalo is 2-4 on the season following the loss, but the future looks bright. Hopefully, Allen's injury won't be anything serious and he can continue playing and developing as soon as possible.
