The Jacksonville Jaguars have been without the services of star running back Leonard Fournette due to a hamstring injury that has continued to linger on and keep him out off the field.

This could now be a situation that bleeds into the second half of the season with a recent report suggesting that Fournette could be sidelined until Week 10.

This has been a discouraging situation for Fournette, who was hoping to build off a strong rookie campaign while helping push his team another playoff. Instead, he has missed three out of the first five games of the year due to hamstring issues. it has been something hasn't been able to shake fully that has left the Jaguars without their primary offensive weapon to lead the charge out of the backfield. His absence has pushed backup T.J. Yeldon into the spotlight to carry the workload in the process as he has notched 258 rushing yards and a touchdown along with 22 receptions for 194 receiving yards and three touchdowns. \

The Jaguars have also brought in another proven running back to the mix in Jamaal Charles after the team saw yet another running back go down with an injury as Corey Grant suffered a Lisfranc injury in his foot that has ended his 2018 season. The team is looking to get any sort of stability in the running game, which has proven to be a little more challenging given the game-changing ability that Leonard Fournette possesses.

Although this report does suggest that he could be out for a bit longer, it is something that the Jaguars will continue to monitor moving forward with him already being declared out for this week's game against the Dallas Cowboys. There should be much more to come on this front over the next several days that should give the team a better idea concerning Fournette's health.
