The Seattle Seahawks said goodbye to two of their biggest franchise icons. Russell Wilson is heading to the Dever Broncos via trade while Bobby Wagner will hit the open market.

Wilson will always be remembered for his stint in Seattle but Wagner's is equally impressive, if not more. He was a six-time First-Team All-Pro and the leader of the Seahawks' fantastic defense that led them to a Super Bowl 48 win. There should be a lot of teams lining up to sign him. There are already some that would make the addition of Wagner even sourer for the 12s.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, all three of the Seahawks' NFC West opponents (the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals) are interested in Wagner.

Wagner going the route of Richard Sherman — who signed with the archrival San Francisco 49ers after leaving Seattle — would be devastating for Seahawks fans. It seems like Wagner knew what was coming and called Sherman a prophet, to which Sherman invoked Harvey Dent's famous quote.

The Cardinals could especially use Wagner after releasing Jordan Hicks yesterday. The Rams and 49ers would certainly be better with the 31-year-old star on their respective defenses, too.

Both Wagner and Wilson gave heartfelt goodbye messages to Seattle, showing their love for the city. Unfortunately, the franchise has failed them and is now lookng to embark on a lengthy rebuild.
