Though this has been quite a year for any NFL player given the unprecedented circumstances that have surrounded the season, some players have still found fortune in being allowed to return to the game they love. Josh Gordon is no different in that cause, as he was reinstated into the league on Thursday.
Josh Gordon took to Twitter with a simple message after being reinstated:

Josh Gordon will be active for the final two weeks of the 2020 season, which could allow him to see a bit of playing time with the Seattle Seahawks prior to the playoffs. The 29-year old wideout was suspended by the league front office last season nearly a year ago, after breaching substance abuse policies while divulging in performance-enhancement drugs, an unfortunate blast from the past in Gordon's troubles.

With Josh Gordon being available for the final two weeks of play, he could see time against the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers. He played a total of 11 games last season, five of which were with the Seahawks. During his time in Seattle, the Pro Bowler tallied 139 yards off 11 targets, seven of which were completed.
If his transition back onto the field is a success, Josh Gordon would pose as another weapon in Russell Wilson's downfield arsenal. DK Metcalf has showed up that aspect of the Seahawks offense so far this season along with Tyler Lockett.
