Will Dissly has become a surprising contributor for the Seattle Seahawks this season but he may miss an extended period of time. Seattle fears Dissly could be out a while after an Achilles injury versus the Cleveland Browns in Week 6 per Adam Schefter.

On Sunday against the Browns, Dissly sustained the Achilles injury in the first quarter of the contest. The pass-catching tight end fell to the ground after a non-contact play—which is never good news.

Prior to the injury versus the Browns, Dissly had caught 23 passes for 262 yards and four touchdowns this season. As Seahawks fans know, the Washington product got off to a fast start with the team before suffering a gruesome knee injury that ended his rookie season prematurely.

Sadly, it appears as if Dissly's outlook for the rest of the season is in jeopardy. We will know more information after the tight end undergoes an MRI in the coming days.

With Dissly exiting from the game, Luke Willson will likely become the go-to option at the tight end position. Willson spent 2013-2017 with the Seahawks before he went to the Detroit Lions and the Oakland Raiders in the last two years.

Luckily for them, the Raiders released Willson prior to the beginning of the season. Willson caught 92 passes for 1,165 yards and 11 touchdowns in his first stint with the team.

The Seahawks are hoping for the best but they're prepared for the worst with Dissly's injury. Hopefully the young tight end's injury isn't as serious as initially expected.
