Sean O'Malley is one of the many people that reacted to the surprising news that the UFC would be upping their pay-per-view prices. The decision came from ESPN as they are broadcast partners.

The price of the monthly UFC events is now up to $74.99. A five-dollar increase from the old price which was increased not too long ago.

Sean O'Malley got brutally honest as he talked about the price increase on his latest podcast. He may get a few UFC fans and streamers in trouble too.

“What the hell are we doing here, Dana?” he said. “It’s just so easy to stream it illegally. Not talking from experience, but just saying to my friends.”

Sean O'Malley proceeded to upset many MMA fans by making suggestions on how the UFC can avoid illegally streaming. There is an unwritten rule with fans that streaming options are not to be discussed on public platforms.

“Whoever is in control of the legal streams and stuff at the UFC, or whatever, they need someone that’s good enough at hacking to, right before the main event starts every single time, they just shut it. Right before the good stuff.

“Someone could do that. Someone smart enough probably could figure it out. They could have a hacking team.”

2022 is going to be a tricky year in Sean O'Malley's UFC career. It looks like the bantamweight is only going to be able to fight two times and will likely need to renegotiate his contract at some point soon.
