Sean O'Malley has been very pro-UFC in the past few months. The bantamweight fighter has been defending the organization and recently made quite the take on the Francis Ngannou situation.

Francis Ngannou has had a very public negotiation with the UFC and things are starting to get ugly. Sean O'Malley was quick to defend the UFC on this one. He spoke about it on the latest episode of his podcast.

“Dude, if you’re gonna go out there and just talk shit about the boss and the company you can’t just expect no backlash. It makes sense that Dana is running a business and his heavyweight champion, the one that’s the main fucking champion, he’s the baddest dude on planet earth, is just every interview he gets [he’s] talking shit. And I don’t wanna say talking shit in a bad way. I guess he’s just talking facts but it is talking shit and you can’t do that to the UFC. You can’t do that to Dana. You can’t do that to your boss.”

Sean O'Malley got brutally honest as he compared the situation with Jake Paul. The UFC bantamweight says there is a very good reason why one is paid more than the other. He believes it's all about the star power.

“When you’re the heavyweight champion of the world and Jake Paul is making $20 million a fight, [$7 million isn’t big], but Jake Paul’s a bigger star than Ngannou. If you look at numbers and engagement and fans, shit like that, Jake’s a bigger star.”
