Donald Trump has yet to hit one year as President of the United States, but he’s taken so many hits from detractors to last multiple presidencies. Hating Trump has become fashionable and if you ask J.J. Redick, it should also be mandatory for the American people.

Alex Wong of GQ recently had an interview with the Philadelphia 76ers sharpshooter and to open up his write-up, Wong recalled what Redick told reporters during last month’s media day when the veteran shooting guard equated speaking against Trump as having your first meal of the day.

“The other thing, too, is to speak out against Trump at this point is almost like eating breakfast. It’s what’s you should do — you should eat breakfast because it’s part of a daily, balanced diet.

We don’t have to detail most of what Trump has said and done so far that made him one of the biggest social and political villains today, but there has been enough to get the ire of Redick on a daily basis.

Redick signed a one-year contract with the 76ers last July, but if he was there with the team during the previous seasons, he’d likely be also comparing “having breakfast” to losing.
