The Golden State Warriors seem to be rejuvenated since DeMarcus Cousins returned from injury. The team had just barely clung onto the first seed in the West. Things seemed kind of off in the Bay Area.

Klay Thompson has had the worst shooting season his entire career. So has Draymond Green. Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant have been tasked for the most part to lead a team with very little depth. It's been difficult for head coach Steve Kerr to figure out the rotations. Thankfully, Cousins allows him more flexibility to maneuver the lineup.

The 76ers, on the other hand, have gone through a change in their lineup as well. They traded for Jimmy Butler in the fall. They lost some depth, but since then they've begun to work around the strengths and weaknesses of their three stars.

Ben Simmons is a great primary ball-handler and can get inside with ease. Jimmy Butler is a great off-the-ball scorer but tends to be pass-first. Embiid is an excellent rim protector and can rim run, and also is able to body people in the post. The three have had struggles playing together, but they have time to figure it out over the next season or so.

These two teams could each go very deep in their conferences during the playoffs. It remains to be seen how their new additions will help them moving forward.
