The late Manute Bol is known as the ultra-thin center in the 1980's who blocked a lot of shots, and for being the tallest player in NBA history at 7'7″.

This time another Bol will get a chance to be famous and to be cheered on by a lot of fans.

Manute's son, Bol,  has been part of basketball headlines recently. Like his father, he is also skinny and is a good rim protector but at only 16-years-old and already standing at 7'0″.

He has way different ball skills than his old man. He plays like a guard and can knock down the three pointers with consistency.

He is currently a junior at Bishop Miege in Olathe, Kansas and has been dominating his competition in the state. And even if he won't be finishing high school until 2018, ESPN has reported that he already has four offers from Division I schools, namely, Creighton, Kansas, New Mexico State, and St. John's.

In an exclusive video shared by TMZ, Bol Bol appears to be giant amongst boys in a local hoops tournament. No wonder he is already a blue chip prospect of his class and projected as a lottery pick.

For now, we'll have to wait and see how his development pans out. Given his combination of height and shooting accuracy, it will definitely be to his advantage, especially for a possible stretch-four.

He just needs to bulk up more in the coming years to prepare his body for the NBA grind. Nevertheless, the future is looking bright for the young, second generation baller.
