San Antonio Spurs shooting guard DeMar DeRozan ripped Skip Bayless for his comments about Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

Prescott admitted this week that he has been battling depression after losing his brother to an apparent suicide. Bayless, one of the most polarizing TV personalities ever, said he didn't have sympathy for Prescott and stated the Cowboys star made a mistake revealing his mental health issues.

DeRozan, who opened up about his struggles with depression during the 2017-18 season after Cleveland Cavaliers big man Kevin Love went public with his, went off on Bayless on Twitter for his insensitive comments:

Dak Prescott should be commended for sharing his struggles with depression, as it will certainly inspire others to get help who are hesitant to do so.

DeMar DeRozan got the assistance he needed when he was struggling, and now the Spurs All-Star is in a much better place emotionally and mentally.

Skip Bayless tried to issue an apology to Prescott on Friday, but the public wasn't really buying it. His employer, FS1, released a statement on Thursday after Bayless' comments went viral, stating that they didn't agree with Skip's opinion.

Social media was heated at Bayless on Thursday, with the hashtag fire #FireSkipBayless even trending as well on Twitter. All in all, it wasn't a good look for Bayless.
