San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich has always had LeBron James' back, and that trend continued on Monday.

During his conference call with Spurs reporters, Popovich ripped Fox News host Laura Ingraham for being “clueless.” Pop then emphasized that he wants white people to get educated on the history of social injustices in America.

To recall, Ingraham told James in 2018 to “shut up and dribble.”

The NBA is mostly made up of African Americans, so Popovich understands that white people in positions of power — such as himself — need to understand the privilege they have to empathize with what the African American community is going through at the moment.

The Spurs and 21 other teams are scheduled to play basketball again soon. However, that doesn't mean Popovich, James and players are going to stop talking about the Black Lives Matter movement and the racial injustices in America.

With that said, Popovich and his players probably aren't stressing over the team's playoff streak possibly coming to an end. San Antonio has made the postseason 22 straight seasons under coach Pop, but that streak will likely come to an end this year unless the Spurs compile a stellar seeding games record and the teams in front of them in the Western Conference struggle.
