San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich recently passionately endorsed Democratic nominee Joe Biden while ripping President Donald Trump along the way.

Popovich, who has never shied away from bashing Trump, says voting for the POTUS is “a vote against the very ideals upon which our democracy was founded.”

“Our country is at a crossroads, and each of us must decide where we stand. I stand for truth over lies. I stand for equality and categorically reject white supremacy,” Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said about why he's voting for Joe Biden and not Donald Trump, via Tom Petrini of Kens TV.

“I believe in compassion and decency. I believe our veterans are true American heroes, not suckers, not losers. I believe all Americans deserve access to affordable healthcare. I believe a presidency should be transparent, not veiled in deception. Now it's time for you to decide where you stand. For me it's pretty simple: a vote for Donald Trump is a vote against the very ideals upon which our democracy was founded,” Popovich continued.

“Our democracy is at stake, so please stand with me, united in the land of the free and the home of the brave. I stand with Joe Biden.”

Donald Trump once said service members are “suckers and losers.”

Gregg Popovich, an Air Force veteran, fired back by saying veterans are “true American heroes, not suckers, not losers.”

The election is on Tuesday, November 3. It is being called the most important election in American history because of how polarizing Trump has been during his four-year term.
