The San Antonio Spurs, who are being led this season by LaMarcus Aldridge, have gotten used to playing short-handed over the years with injuries and coach Gregg Popovich's regularly resting of his players.

That looks to be the case again on Monday night when they take on the Utah Jazz. According to the San Antonio Spurs‘ official Twitter account.

Dejounte Murray (sprained left ankle) and Tony Parker (back tightness) are questionable for tomorrow’s Spurs-Jazz game. LaMarcus Aldridge (sore right knee), Rudy Gay (right heel bursitis) and Kawhi Leonard (return from injury management) are out.

This will be the fourth game that Aldridge has missed this year, and if there is any concern about his injured knee, it wouldn't be shocking to see him sit out through the All-Star break.

After some wondered last season if Aldridge would force his way out of the Spurs, he has had a bigger role this year and has been playing a lot better. On the season, he is averaging 22.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.

This will be the third time that the Jazz and Spurs have faced off this season. The Jazz have won the first two matchups by nine and 11 points, respectively.

If the Spurs are going to want to win this game, they are going to need a big game from Pau Gasol, who should be starting in Aldridge's place. The last time that Gasol played the Jazz, he put up eight points and 11 rebounds in 20 minutes of action. Look for center Joffrey Lauvergne to also see an uptick in minutes.
