The Pittsburgh Steelers recently parted ways with longtime offensive coordinator Todd Haley in a surprise move after they lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Divisional Round.

It didn't take long for Haley to find another opportunity in the NFL as he's now the new offensive coordinator of the division rival Cleveland Browns. With Haley in Cleveland, he'll face his former team at least twice a year and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger talked about what it'll be like facing his former offensive coordinator, via Marc Sessler of NFL.com.

“We had a great run, very successful when he was here,” Roethlisberger told NFL Network's Jane Slater during preparation for the Pro Bowl in Orlando. “Just thankful for the opportunity I had to play with him and be a part of that offense and now we have to face him twice a year. So we'll see how that goes.”

Haley has his work cut out for him as he tries to help right the ship in Cleveland. The Browns are coming off a winless season with a lot of retooling needed on the offensive side of the football starting with the quarterback position.

As for the Steelers, Roethlisberger has let it be known he intends to return for the 2018 NFL season. Pittsburgh could be relatively intact offensively if able to work things out with running back Le'Veon Bell. The team chose to promote internally for Haley's successor with Randy Fichtner being given the job.

Although these two teams are headed in opposite directions, the matchup between these division rivals will be that much more interesting with Haley in Cleveland and Pittsburgh trying to make another Super Bowl run with Roethlisberger under center.
