If Steve Kerr‘s words are indeed true, the Cleveland Cavaliers might need to prepare better than how they did in last season's Finals against the reigning back-to-back MVP.

The fourth year head coach was recently asked what he noticed in Stephen Curry‘s game and the differences he's seen in it from a year ago. Kerr shared that he thinks he is faster and stronger now, which will give the Golden State Warriors a bigger chance of dethroning the Cavs and reclaiming the title they won in 2015.

Despite many believing that he is having an “off season,” the 29-year-old Davidson product was still able to produce solid numbers in the regular season with 25.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.8 steals per game. In 12 playoff games so far, he has even improved his stats and is averaging 28.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.9 steals.

Curry has proven over the past few campaigns that he can play at his best when the team needs him the most and that is certainly what's happening in the postseason so far. He also feels that he has a chip on his shoulder and would like to avenge the loss last year, when the Dubs collapsed in the last three games of the Finals and blew a 3-1 lead. Nothing short of his best effort can be expected from him starting on June 1, and it will be known by then if Kerr's observation are true or not.
