In a rather uncharacteristic turn of events, Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker took down Toronto Raptors big man Precious Achiuwa in what seemed to be a frustration foul.

After turning the ball over to Achiuwa, Booker tried hard to catch up to the Raptors youngster in a bid to stop him from getting a bucket. However, Booker ended up tackling Achiuwa, who dropped to the floor and stayed down for a bit after the hard fall.

Booker and the Suns were having a hard time against the Raptors, trailing 78-71 at that point, so it's not surprising why the All-Star guard was frustrated with the turnover. However, that is undoubtedly an unacceptable gesture.

Of course Booker was called for a Flagrant 1 foul. While some would argue that he got the ball first, there was clearly unnecessary force that led to the Raptors big falling to the floor.

It's rare to see Devin Booker commit such acts, and it should be a lesson he needs to learn from. He can't allow himself to be in such situations, especially since it can lead him to getting ejected in games or even suspended.

With Chris Paul injured and sidelined–perhaps for the remainder of the regular season–the Suns can't afford to lose Booker as well.
