Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker is coming off a fantastic NBA finals debut as Monty Williams' team rolled to a 118-113 win in Game 1 on Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks. Just a day later, Booker was seen sporting a very unique sneaker in practice to pay homage to his idol, Kobe Bryant:

Now, that is sharp. It's even covered in purple to honor the Lakers. The Suns guard clearly wrote “Be legendary” on the shoe as well, which is a saying that Bryant instilled in Booker. He even has a tattoo of the quote to honor the Black Mamba.

Booker has spoken out on numerous occasions about just how important Kobe was to the development of his NBA career with the Suns. The way he's taken over games in these playoffs is the closest thing we've seen to Bryant, too.

The former Kentucky standout is averaging 27 points, 6.2 boards, and 4.8 dimes in the postseason while shooting an impressive 92% from the line. He and Chris Paul have been absolutely going off for the Suns as they look to bring an NBA title to the desert.

Whenever Devin Booker plays, you better believe Kobe is in his heart. Maybe, we'll even see him debut these dope sneakers in Game 2 on Thursday.
