Phoenix Suns star shooting guard Devin Booker made a bit of NBA history on Wednesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves, becoming the fourth-youngest player to hit the 11,000-point mark. LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Kobe Bryant are the only ones to get there faster, which is some pretty darn good company.

After pouring in 28 points in yet another Suns win, Booker has 11,005 regular-season points for his career. He's putting up 26.0 points per game this season while shooting 45.9% from the field and 37.5% from 3-point range. The shooting guard has recorded at least 22 points per game in every season but his rookie campaign and hasn't been lower than 25 points per game since Year 3, when he notched 24.9 points per game.

Booker's outstanding play this season has helped lead the Suns to a sterling 59-14 record, which is by far the best in the NBA. This despite Chris Paul missing extended time over the last month-plus with a thumb injury. Phoenix hasn't missed a beat with Paul out of the lineup, and a lot of that is thanks to Booker's brilliance.

Booker and the Suns are on a mission to avenge their loss in the 2021 NBA Finals. It looked like they were well on their way to their first-ever NBA title when they went up 2-0 on the Milwaukee Bucks, but then everything crumbled down with four straight losses. Phoenix is ready to get back to the Finals and finish the job this time around, with Booker at the center of it all.
