Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns were as close as you can get to an NBA Finals win. But we all know how that turned out. Book revealed that he's talked to one of his Team USA teammates about the heartbreaking defeat, a man who's been on both sides of the coin in Draymond Green.

The Warriors star had been in five straight NBA Finals, with two gut-wrenching losses of his own. The Suns All-Star spoke out about the harsh reality of the situation, as told by Draymond himself.

Via Trevor Booth of Bright Side of the Sun:

“We’ve talked about it in short conversation,” said the Suns guard. “Talked about it with Draymond and him stressing the fact, ‘It’s not going to be that easy to get back to the Finals.’ I remember us as a team saying that right in the locker room after we lost, that we got to understand it’s going to be even harder to make it to the point we were at.

Just having an understanding for that, but I’m excited for it. The experience was great. I’m glad I got to do it. Obviously, ended up on the wrong side of the stick but that’s life.”

The Phoenix Suns got a taste of success many didn't expect from them last season. They showed that they were more than worth of being on the biggest stage. Now it's time to prove that it wasn't a fluke.
