Devin Booker is undoubtedly one of the best young talents the NBA has to offer, and the Phoenix Suns will need a lot from him this season. His picture-perfect shooting stroke and ability to score from anywhere on the floor make him one of the leagues most prolific scorers. It's crazy how good he is on his fourth season season in the league considering he is just 24 years old. This is a guy who has a 70-point game under his belt.

This past offseason, Booker was out for about six weeks to allow him to recover from surgery that repaired his fifth metacarpal in his right hand. He recovered enough for him to be able to play in their season opener and he didn't show any signs off coming off an injury. He posted 35 points and 12-of-19 shooting to go with 4 rebounds and 7 assists in a win against the Dallas Mavericks. The Suns are already off to a great start.

Booker seems to be getting more and more comfortable by the day as he tries to get back to top form. In a tweet from Gina Mizell of The Athletic,

Devin Booker got a big bag of ice strapped to his right hand after practice and said he’ll probably need to wear the tape on his pinky/ring fingers for a couple more days: “Getting better every day…I think it’s almost back to being 100 percent.” #Suns

It will be interesting to see if the Suns can compete for a playoff spot in the loaded Western Conference. Booker was quoted in saying last year that it would be ‘last year ever of not making the playoffs'. Let's see if he can turn his words into reality.
