Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker had a forgettable performance in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, and he has no plans of reminiscing it one bit.

As Booker emphasized, having a “short term memory” is his secret to moving on from such performance to allow himself to bounce back better the following game. Besides, in the playoffs where mental resilience is a huge weapon, he can't allow himself to be discouraged.

“Short memory. Just move on. I've been there before, so just understanding that,” then Suns guard shared when asked on how he can play better in Game 4 against the Milwaukee Bucks, per Gerald Bourguet of Fan Sided.

In Game 3 that saw the Suns get blown out 120-100, Devin Booker scored just 10 points on a horrendous 3-of-14 shooting from the field. He was particularly horrible from the 3-point line, banking just one of his seven attempts from the field.

As Booker mentioned, though, it's not the first time he had a poor game in the 2021 playoffs. In Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals against the Los Angeles Clippers, he had a 15-point game on 5-of-21 shooting–which saw him go 1-of-7 from beyond the arc as well. The Suns scorer did quickly forget and move on from that outing, scoring 25 points in the next game on top of two rebounds and two steals.

Booker will be key for the Suns if they want to take a 3-1 lead against the Bucks. Of course, that is easier said than done with Giannis Antetokounmpo wreaking havoc, but it is worth remembering they have already proven they have the tools and talents to stop him and the hungry Milwaukee side.
