The Phoenix Suns suffered a tough 124-120 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road, and Suns Devin Booker was frustrated after the loss.

“We're at the point in the season where every game counts,” Devin Booker said, via Duane Rankin of AZ Central. “So you just want to get as many wins as you can and I think we let one slip tonight.”

Booker did all that he could to win the game for the Suns, scoring 46 points. He spoke on his performance individually.

“I'm just taking what the defense gives me, trying to win games, and that's pretty much it,” Booker said, via Rankin.

The loss drops the Suns to 38-33, which has them just half of a game ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers in the Western Conference. The hope was for the Suns to climb the Western Conference standings after acquiring Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets in a trade. The good news is that if the Suns manage to keep their position in the conference, they will have home-court advantage in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, whether they end up playing the Clippers or not.

The win for the Thunder helps them in the standings as well. They are a half game back of the Golden State Warriors for the top spot in the play-in tournament, and one game back of the Dallas Mavericks for the last spot in the top six. The top six teams are the teams that bypass the play-in tournament.

For the Suns, it is all still there for the taking for them. As they hope Kevin Durant gets healthy, they hope to clinch home-court advantage in the NBA Playoffs.
