Team USA looked beatable once again in their Olympic semi-final matchup against Australia. That is.. until they didn't.

The Americans found themselves down by as many as 15 points in the first half but managed to go on a straight heater to bury Patty Mills, Joe Ingles, and Co. The US were down 26-41 at the 5:23 mark of the second quarter before deciding to turn it up. Team USA turned that deficit into a 19-point lead entering the second half, a swing of 34 points. Kevin Durant led the team in scoring with 23 points, while Devin Booker piled on 20 more.

The massive Team USA turnaround caught the attention of a couple of All-Stars in Stephen Curry and Bradley Beal. Curry was clearly cheering on his Golden State Warriors co-star in Draymond Green, while Beal was a part of the Olympic roster before being sent home due to health and safety protocol.

Other NBA players were also tuning into the Team USA vs. Australia showdown, including Mikal Brides and Thon Maker, who both have vested interest in the contest.

Team USA now finds themselves a win away from Olympic gold. Considering the tumultuous journey they took to get here, it's definitely feel that much sweeter if they pull it off. They're set to face the winner of France vs. Slovenia.

The US still probably have a sour taste in their mouths after France beat them in the Olympic opener while the threat of Luka Doncic definitely can't be taken lightly. This is still far from over for Team USA.
