Texans’ DeAndre Hopkins catches passes upside-down in latest NFL commercial

DeAndre Hopkins, Texans

Houston Texans superstar DeAndre Hopkins is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. He uses his elite athleticism to get open and make catches most couldn’t. Meanwhile, his hands are so sure you never have to worry about drops.

This incredible skill has made him a fan favorite as he wows the crowd with ridiculous plays. The NFL is using that to their advantage – using Hopkins in their new commercial promoting the start of the 2019 regular season. He throws a little extra flavor to the commercial, being upside-down.

DeAndre Hopkins is known for his highlight plays. With that in mind, it makes complete sense for him to find a way to make a commercial where it appears he’s simply catching passes interesting.

Of course, this is probably nothing all that insane for Hopkins. He’s made eye-popping catches his entire career. If someone were to actually make a catch upside-down in an NFL game, Hopkins would be near the top of the list of likely perpetrators.

This commercial definitely served it’s purpose though. DeAndre Hopkins is the exact type of player that gets everyone excited. Even if you aren’t a fan of the Texans, you want to see their highlights to see what crazy thing Hopkins managed to do that week.

After seeing that commercial, I’m that much more excited for the NFL regular season and to get to see DeAndre Hopkins go all out for an entire game. I’d imagine I’m not the only one with that feeling.

For now though, we’ll all have to do with this commercial and the very small amount of playing time he’ll get in the preseason. Week 1 of the regular season will be here soon enough.
