Carmelo Anthony general makes scoring the basketball look unfathomably easy.

But that's not always the case for the Oklahoma City Thunder star forward. While speaking to reporters recently, he said he's struggled on the offensive end over the last few games, per Tim Daniels of Bleacher Report.

“I think these past three, four games, offensively, has been the toughest stretch for me as far as scoring the basketball, making shots,” Anthony told reporters. “This is a rough stretch for myself personally, probably the roughest that I've had throughout my career.”

This season, Anthony is averaging 18.1 points on 40.6 percent shooting, and he's at 33.8 percent from 3, per Basketball Reference. But in the last four games, Anthony has scored nine, nine, 14 and 11 points, respectively.

Talk about a scoring slump.

But with how good Anthony is on offense, that is a trend that shouldn't last very long. He's a former scoring champion and is widely considered one of the best scorers to ever play in the NBA.

His struggles could just be a combination of playing with a new team, combined with the fact that it's December, and this is the time of the year that many NBA players and teams begin to struggle. Thunder fans shouldn't worry. Anthony will get right sooner than you can say “3-pointer.”
