Karl-Anthony Towns made history on Saturday night after being the first center to ever win the NBA All-Star 3-Point Contest. The Minnesota Timberwolves star had the whole arena buzzing throughout his electric performance and apparently, Anthony Edwards was feeling a bit excited about it too.

Edwards was not in the building but he was definitely tuned in to support his Timberwolves teammate during Saturday night's spectacle. Ant took to Instagram to share his viewing experience and to say that he was hyped would be a complete understatement (h/t Pickwise on Twitter):

Edwards was literally screaming as he watched KAT drain shot after shot in the 3-Point Contest. It's safe to say that Ant enjoyed the show.

We actually expected Edwards to be in the building to support his teammate, but obviously, he was not. The Timberwolves star was a limited participant during Friday's Rising Stars Challenge, and we're assuming this has to do with the ankle sprain he has been dealing with. He's reportedly also dealing with a knee issue, so it's completely understandable that he played limited minutes during the mini-tournament. Edwards' injury does not sound too serious, though, and he should be back at full strength after the All-Star break.
