There were plenty of moving parts in the blockbuster four-team trade involving the Houston Rockets, Atlanta Hawks, Denver Nuggets, and Minnesota Timberwolves. This all seemed to confuse Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns, who posted his thoughts on the deal on his Instagram.

NBA Central took a screen grab of KAT's emotions during the entire process:

There was plenty of confusion surrounding this trade, not just for Towns but also among NBA fans monitoring the situation, simply because of all the moving parts involved.

The Timberwolves received Malik Beasley, Juancho Hernangomez, and Jarred Vanderbilt from the Nuggets, while also getting Evan Turner from the Hawks, as well as one of their first-round draft picks (via Brooklyn).

Aside from RoCo, Houston also got Jordan Bell from the Timberwolves in the deal. Atlanta, meanwhile, also acquired Nene in addition to Capela.

Finally, Denver brought in Gerald Green (who's injured) and a first-round pick from the Rockets, and also received Noah Vonleh and Keita Bates-Diop from Minnesota.

The Rockets certainly got what they wanted in Covington. It's clear they are going all in on small ball giving up their only rim-runner and rim protector. Atlanta finally also got the center it had been hoping to acquire.

Minnesota, on the one hand, is still aggressively pursuing D'Angelo Russell from the Golden State Warriors, though reports claim the Dubs have moved on from discussing with Minnesota. Surely, had the Timberwolves landed Russell, KAT's reactions would be much different and he'd be a happy man. Instead, the Timberwolves star doesn't seem all that thrilled about what went down.
