Karl-Anthony Towns may not be directly involved in the Minnesota Timberwolves' recent drama, but he's undoubtedly the primary stakeholder.

Timberwolves president Gersson Rosas is now gone, leaving the team in flux as they continue their rebuild. This obviously has raised concerns about the status of Karl-Anthony Towns. The two-time All-Star sent out a tweet of frustration after the news broke.

But according to Timberwolves reporter for The Athletic Jon Krawczynski, the big man isn't making any wild trade demands at the moment.

Via Larry Brown Sports:

“Karl-Anthony Towns has weathered a lot of drama in his six years here,” said Krawczynski on the Timberwolves star. “So far, there are no indications that he is ready to go that route. I know the team has engaged directly with him and his representation over the last 24 hours to try and send a new message and get everyone on board and let them know what they’re thinking and what they’re doing.”

Karl-Anthony Towns will be 26 to start this coming season, with little on-court success to show for it throughout his career. The Timberwolves also have Anthony Edwards now, which has people questioning who the true franchise face is.

Towns may not be asking out of Minnesota just yet, but there's only so long a star can hold on what his team fails to build a winner around him.
