The Minnesota Timberwolves will fight to keep their season alive in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals. Mike Conley has been dealing with a calf issue for a little while now but still should be able to play in what could be the decisive game at the American Airlines Center.

Conley and the Wolves have their backs against the wall after letting Game 3 slip through their fingers despite having a lead in the fourth quarter. The story was the same for the first two games. Now, it's time to do or die. Despite still dealing with an injury, Conley is expected to play.

Mike Conley's injury status for Timberwolves' Game 4 vs. Mavericks

Conley was listed as questionable on the NBA injury report due to a right soleus strain. The 36-year-old has been a mainstay on the injury report and has been able to continue playing. Sure enough, he has since been upgraded to available on Tuesday.

With Minnesota's season on the line, it's tough to imagine that he won’t remain active (barring any worsening of his condition). The only game that Conley has missed so far was Game 5 of the second round against the Denver Nuggets. He returned the following game and has been playing ever since.

In this year’s playoffs, Conley is averaging 11.8 points, 5.9 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 42.0 percent from the field and 40.6 percent from deep. His presence at point guard gives the Timberwolves some much-needed stability and playmaking.

Conley is the only Timberwolves player listed on the NBA injury report. For the Mavs, Luka Doncic (right knee sprain, left ankle soreness) and Maxi Kleber (right shoulder AC separation) were listed as questionable but have both since been upgraded to available.  Dereck Lively II (neck sprain) has been ruled out after taking a Karl-Anthony Towns knee to the head during Game 3 and later being ruled out for the rest of the game. Olivier-Maxence Prosper (left ankle sprain) remains sidelined as well.

Mike Conley is ready to play as the Timberwolves face the Mavericks looking to send the series back to Minneapolis. With Game 1 of the NBA Finals set for Thursday, June 6 against the Boston Celtics, the final stage is within sight. But it'll take a historic effort from the Wolves to get there.
