Ja Morant and Memphis Grizzlies put on a show for Game 2 against the Golden State Warriors. Morant led his team to a big victory, matching his career-high in playoff points with 47. However, the win got Minnesota Timberwolves guard Patrick Beverley chirping, which is just a weird look in general.

Beverley took to Twitter on Sunday to talk some trash about the Warriors. The Timberwolves' veteran point guard pointed out how his team never allowed Ja Morant to score 47 points in one game. It's an odd flex, considering Morant absolutely torched Minnesota throughout that series. Even so, Patrick Beverley believes his team is somehow better than the Warriors based on Ja Morant's performances.

Maybe Beverley was just feeling left out while he sits on the couch and watches the playoffs with the rest of us? Or, perhaps he enjoys playing mind games and wants the Warriors to lose? I don't know I'm simply trying to make up reasons as to why Patrick Beverley would even tweet this. The Timberwolves had a legitimate chance to defeat the Grizzlies in the first round and failed.

We'll see how the rest of the NBA Playoffs pan out. This Grizzlies-Warriors series has been feisty so far, as both teams have been rather chippy towards each other. Game 3 is likely to heat up, especially after Dillon Brooks' hard foul on Gary Payton II on Tuesday night. Not to mention, Draymond Green was ejected in Game 1, then flipped off the Memphis crowd in Game 2.

All eyes will be on this series matchup as the fireworks are about to go off. Hopefully, Patrick Beverley and the rest of the Timberwolves enjoy the postseason as much as the rest of us.
