Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves shared a light moment with Taj Gibson as the former did a trust fall into his teammate's arms.

After snagging the offensive rebound and converting on a potential and-1, Towns comfortably fell into Gibson's arms. Check out the video below posted by NBA on ESPN:

It was definitely a light moment between the veteran and the 23-year-old Karl-Anthony Towns. Maybe it's a metaphor for their relationship on and off the court. As the older player, Gibson's job is to help develop Towns into the best player he can possibly be.

In an old interview with Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic, Taj Gibson shared how Karl-Anthony Towns is learning to be the squad's leader, though at times they have to tell him to slow down. But overall, he believes that the young big man is doing a good job:

“KAT has been learning that way. He’s been doing a great job as far as being a guy in the huddle, understanding how to practice hard and push everybody every day, take responsibility. He sees defense, wanting to guard the best guys, wanting to guard the best centers. At times we gotta slow him down and understand that we really need him to play the whole game. It’s a process and hes’ been doing a great job.”

Eventually, Karl-Anthony Towns will be the leader of the team and will take on the role that Taj Gibson currently has. Until then, the veteran will always be right behind him.
