Ryan Tannehill is enjoying a career season with the Tennessee Titans after spending last season on an undesirable situation with the Miami Dolphins. The resurgence of his career also saw a lot of money flowing into his bank account.

The contract he signed with the Titans during the past offseason had plenty of bonuses that were attached to it. And according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the veteran quarterback is getting more than $10 million in bonuses for leading the Titans to this improbable playoff run.

Rapoport detailed the breakdown of his bonuses:

Roster bonus: $250,000 for being on the 46-man roster for 13 games.

Passer rating: $1 million for having a rating of better than 96.0.

Playing time: $1 million, thanks to $100,000 in each of the 10 games during the season that he participated in more than 50 percent of the plays.

Wins: $175,000 because each win netted him $25,000, with all of the seven wins featuring him participating in more than 50 percent.

Passing yards: $500,000 for more than 2,250 passing yards.

Touchdown passes: $500,000 for more than 20 touchdowns.

Tannehill has played fantastic football for the Titans, and he's undoubtedly a key cog in the success the Titans are experiencing at the moment. The situation has become a lot better in comparison to the time he was on the bench for the Dolphins.

“It was really hard. Nobody likes to sit on the bench. I wanted to be playing. I wanted to be competing. Everything is different when you're not in the starting position,” Tannehill told ESPN. “That was a big change for me. There was a lot of biting your tongue and swallowing your pride. It was definitely an adjustment. But I just tried to make the best of the situation I was given, play my role and be a good teammate.”

Now that he's only 60 minutes away from the Super Bowl, expect Tannehill to try and put on a show against the Kansas City Chiefs.
